Samantha Kingston is a popular girl. Who is looking forward to her valentines day school ball. The only problems is it doesn’t end in the way it thought she would. It ended in her death. However she woke up and it was valentines day all over again.
Samantha started to work out that she would relieve her last day over and over not knowing if it would stop or change or maybe actually live. Like everyday the story isn’t about the main character living a long happy life its about making people realise that every thing you do makes a difference. the smallest kindness can turn a person change an event. But she also learns something’s can’t be undone.
Both Before I fall and Everyday remind me of one of my favourite Buffy the vampire slayer quotes “Bottom line is, even if you see ’em coming, you’re not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does. So what are we, helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are gonna come. You can’t help that. It’s what you do afterwards that counts. That’s when you find out who you are. You’ll see what I mean.”
